Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is a nutritionally complete dog food designed to dissolve kidney and bladder stones and help minimise the chance of them reoccurring. With reduced magnesium and carefully controlled high quality proteins, this recipe works to dissolve and prevent struvite uroliths and struvite or calcium oxalate urolithiases as well as bacterial cystitis.
The low RSS formulation in Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie helps to dilute the urine and reduces the concentration of ions, helping to remove leading factors in the formation of kidney and bladder stones. To boot, this variation of Royal Canin’s Urinary S/O line is also ideal for helping your dog to reach and sustain optimal bodyweight, which can be difficult for neutered dogs or dogs with lower activity levels.
We recommend that you seek an opinion from a veterinarian before beginning this diet. Please do not feed Veterinary Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie to pregnant or lactating dogs, puppies, or dogs with chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis, pancreatitis, heart failure, hyperlipidaemia, or undergoing treatment with urine acidifying drugs.
